Biography

Petropoulos Spyridon is Editorial Board of Journal of Herbal Medicine Research. He is working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Laboratory of Vegetable Production, School of Agricultural Science, Department of Agriculture, Crop Production and Rural Environment, University of Thessaly Greece.  

Research Interest

1. Essential oils of herbs and medicinal and horticultural plants.
2. Quality of vegetable products (aroma profile, nitrate content, vitamins, phenolic compounds, nutritional value, color etc.)
3. Nutrition of horticultural plants.
4. Salinity and plant physiology under high salinity stress.
5. Plant physiology under water stress.
6. Post-harvest physiology of fruit and vegetables.
7. Vegetable grafting.
