He has completed his Doctor of Philosophy, in plant molecular biology and biotechnology, University of Alberta, Bachelor of Science in genetics program (Honors), University of Manitoba. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the department of Biological Sciences in the University of North Texas in USA.
