Biography
Dr María Jesús García is a Post-doctoral Researcher in Socio Ecological Systems Laboartory. Her research is focused on the links between ecosystem functioning and human well-being through the analysis of ecosystem service providers (functional diversity) taking into account how beneficiaries use, enjoy or value the ecosystem services. In addition, she is also interested on: the impacts of drivers of change (land-use change and invasive alien species) in the delivery of services and disservices to different stakeholder groups, the role of landscape as a bridge between nature and society, and the different values attached to biodiversity conservation.
