Biography
Dr. Lisa Solieri is currently Researcher in Food Microbiology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her research activity is focused on the exploitation of yeasts and lactic acid bacteria for food and bio-based industrial innovation. She gained skills on ecophysiology, taxonomy, molecular biology, and genomics of yeasts and lactic acid bacteria. In particular she is working on three related topics: • Development of novel food yeast cultures by non-GMO techniques which drive mechanisms of natural diversity towards industrially relevant phenotypes.
