Dr. Kamel A. Abd-Elsalam received his Ph.D in Molecular Plant Physiology at Kiel University (Germany) and Suez Canal University (Egypt) in 2004. Presently working as an Principle Investigator for Central Laboratory of Biotech Bioinformatics and Computational Biology and New York Academy of Sciences.
Research interest of Kamel A. Abd-Elsalam include Developing, improving and deploying plant biosecurity diagnostic platforms and response tools, understanding and exploiting pathogen genomes and developing new nanotechnology-based platforms and materials.
