    Metaphorical thinking is a soft thinking technique connecting two different universes of meaning. The human mind tends to look for similarities. Human cognition is conscious as well as sub-conscious, concrete as well as abstract, intuitive enabling an individual to process knowledge, attention, memory, problem solving, decision making, reasoning, computation etc. through the senses they perceive. Hence, metaphorical thinking acts as a catalyst to promote all these processes mentioned. The present study is focused to find out the influence of metaphorical thinking amounting to neuronal activity in the prefrontal regions of the brain where most of the learning takes place.
