Biography

Dr. Guillaume Vogt is born in France, in 1977. He received a Ph.D. degree from the University Paris René Descartes, Necker-Enfants Malades Medical School, Paris, France, in 2007. He dedicated his doctoral work in Mendelian predisposition syndrome with mycobacterial infections and mutations IFNGR2. His work has opened two new avenues of research, the discovery of mutations "gain of glycosylation" and the complementation of other mutations by inhibitors of glycosylation, distinct from the genetic complementation. Then, He worked as postdoctoral associate in Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York, USA and spent his post-doctoral fellowship to study the cellular mechanisms that control tuberculous mycobacteria inside human macrophages in vitro.
