Biography

Dr. Didier Tharreau a rice pathologist. Specialist of the interactions between rice and Pyricularia oryzae (syn. Magnaporthe oryzae), the blast fungus, I am interested in phylogeny and host specificity, in the genetic and molecular determinants of plant-pathogen interactions, in the diversity and structure of P. oryzae populations, and in the biology and genetics of sexual reproduction.
