Anne MP Michalek

Biography

Anne MP Michalek is working at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, USA. International experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.

Research Interest

Dr. Michalek has over ten years clinical experience specializing in facilitating improved executive functioning in adolescents and adults with TBI and ADHD. Her research interests include: cognitive linguistic science in postsecondary populations. Currently, she examines the relationship between aspects of executive functioning (e.g. working memory, attention, inhibition), speech processing, and visual attention in individuals diagnosed with ADHD, TBI, language disorders, and autism. She runs an eye tracking lab while teaching graduate and undergraduate speech language pathology students.
