He accepted Research Scientist position in the Department of Biology, Duke University from 2010.Dr. Andrii is the author/editors/reviewer in several international journals.Experienced Researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the food production industry. Skilled in DNA Sequencing, Evolution, Collaborative Environment, Critical Thinking, and Science. Strong research professional focused in Mycology, Microbiology and Molecular Biology.
Dr. Andrii Gryganskyi research focuses on genome evolution and the evolutionary genetics of early diverging fungal lineages (former phylum Zygomycota s.l.) and he is also expert on the phylogeny of zygomycetous fungi with an emphasis on Entomophthoromycota – a ubiquitous and unique group of saprobes and entomopathogens of a variety of insect hosts.
