Zulquarnain HAider is working as Rice breeder and geneticist at Rice Research Institute, Kala Shah Kaku Lahore Pakistan established since 1926, under Government of the Punjab, Pakistan. He is working on physiological and molecular basis of submergence and drought stress in rice especially Basmati type. He also working on biofortofication of rice with Zn and Fe. His Research Intrests Agriculture, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Breeding, Food Chemistry, Irrigation, Plant Genetics.
