You-Yang Zhao

Biography

You-Yang Zhao is a  Research Professor and Director of the Program for Lung and Vascular Biology, and Head of the Injury Repair and Regeneration Research at the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Youyang Zhao's lab is focused on lung and vascular biology to study the molecular mechanisms of acute lung injury/ARDS, and pulmonary hypertension and identify novel therapeutics for these devastating diseases.
