Biography

Dr Yazdani Shaik BD is a Research Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Department of Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine, USA. The primary focus of his research is bacterial pathogenesis and host immune responses. His current research interests include: 1) Defining the association between periodontal disease and chronic inflammatory diseases including Obesity and Diabetes, 2) Molecular regulation of Bacterial biofilms and their host immune responses, 3) Interplay between bacterial pathogens and Probiotics in the context of host immune responses.
