Biography
Béla Wittmann (1874–1963), a pediatrician and son of Márta Lohr. He graduated from the Dániel Berzsenyi High School in Budapest. He continued his studies at the Pázmány Péter University , where he obtained his medical degree in 1933. Between 1933 and 1945 he worked at the Szabolcs Street Hospital of the Pest Jewish Community . During World War II , between June 1944 and June 1945, he spent seven months in Auschwitz and five months in the Ebensee concentration camp.
