She is an Associate Professor in at Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Brazil. She received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in biochemistry from Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Brazil. Her ares of expertise includes homocysteine, inborn errors of metabolim, lysosomal disorders, maternal programming and behavioral genetics. Her area of expertise, credits her with more than 185 publications in national and international journals. She is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through her authorship of many books.
