Biography

Dr Ramesh S.V.  has received his PhD  in, Indian Council of Agricultural Research University during the period of 19-May-2008 Currently, he  is working as Scientist (Biotechnology). in. Indian Council of Agricultural Research University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Visiting Scientist , Scientist (Trainee) .His research has included Broader research interests include Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Molecular Virology. Currently the research focus revolves around soybean derived small non-coding RNAs (sncRNAs) under biotic and abiotic stresses, exploitation of sncRNAs in soybean crop improvement and predictive environmental risk assessment associated with ncRNA based GM crops.   Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as: Member International Working Group on Legume and Vegetable Viruses, CREST Award, Best Poster Presentation in 10th  ADNAT International Convention on RNAi and             micro RNA in Development and Health. He /she has authored .many. research articles/books.

Research Interest
