Biography
Dr Nimisha Sharma has received his PhD in Indian Agricultural Research Institute University during the period of 2012. Currently, she is working as Scientist in. IARI, ICAR, New Delhi University. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Scientist.Her research has included Presently working on transcriptomics and complete genome sequencing of mango (Mangifera indica L.). We have generated SSR, SNPs and also done RAD sequencing in mango, recently our work presented in Plant and Animal Genome XXII Conference January 10 - 15, 2014 and Jan 2015, San Diego, CA. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as: Gold Medal for M.Sc. Biotechnology in 2006, Chaudhary Charan Singh Award in 2004, Awarded Bhamashah Award, Mewar Foundation in 2004, Nominated as External Member on the Biosafety Committe meeting of IISR, Lucknow for six years during 2012-15. she has authored many research articles/books.
