Dr. João Pessoa Araújo Junior is currently a Professor of Virology at “Instituto de Biociências, UNESP - Univ Estadual Paulista”, Brazil. He studied Veterinary Medicine at the UNESP, Brazil. He received his graduate education in Microbiology at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where obtained a Ph.D. degree in 1998. He was appointed to the “Instituto de Biociências, UNESP, Brazil as a Professor of Virology in 1994. Nowadays is a coordinator of Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory (MDL).
