She is an Immunologist with PhD in Biotechnology specializinig in Cytokine Immunology and Inflammation, and post doctoral work in asthma immunology and lymphopoiesis, with strong academic and research track record specializing in asthma, lung biology, and stem cell biology in blood and lung. She was a Senior Lecturer of Zoology teaching under- and post-graduate classes in University of Calcutta from December 1997- December 2005. She was a Senior Scientist in Drug Discovery in Advinus Therapeutics Pvt Ltd from – Bangalore & Pune. She is currentlyan Associate Professor in University of Calcutta, India working since Kolkata, India
Inflammation Biology, Stem cell, Regenerative Medicine, Preclinical tissue specific models development and systemic inflammatory diseases for drug discovery, immunotherapeutic molecules, cell based therapy for degenerative lung diseases.
