Professor Elena Cavarretta graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" (2004) in co-supervision with Tufts University, Boston, MA and Specialisation in Heart Surgery with honors from the 'University of Padua (2010). Author of several scientific publications in international journals and 2 book chapters. she currently works with the University La Sapienza in Rome, as a PhD student and is the winner of the selection procedure for Researcher. she has particular experience in the field of echocardiography clinical, particularly in the assessment of valvular disease.
