Topicality: Obesity is a problem of the third millennium. It is known that obesity is a major factor in the development of various diseases, including acute pancreatitis [1-7]. Obesity itself is a pro inflammatory condition with elevated levels of the following prion flammatory cytokines: tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a), interleukin (IL) IL-10, IL-6, IL-1B. Acute pancreatitis is also a disease based on the pathogenesis of the cytokine reaction and autolysis [1-15 ]. So Thus, against the background of the already formed inflammatory response, the inflammatory response is further intensified and increased, and the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines reaches critical values.The aim is to improve the results of treatment of severe acute pancreatitis in obese patients through a differentiated path genetically sound algorithm for choosing the method of conservative and surgical treatment.The perioperative periodwas analyzed among 296 patients withacutepancreatitis and obesity, using a prospective and retrospective epidemiological study. The mean age of the patient group was 55.4 ± 1.5 years. There were 103 women (34.79%) and 193 men (65.21%). In patients with acute pancreatitis, the first degree of obesity was 110 (37.16%), the second degree - in 85 (28.72%) and the third - in 101 (34.12%) patients .
Olha Tkachuk has completed her university at age of 23 years from Vinnitsa National Medical University. She has been studying to obtain the degree of PhD at Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine since 2018. She is the surgeon at Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital. She has published more than 10 papers in journals.
