Dr. Zhong Zhang’s primary research areas are membrane filtration, nanotechnology, and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy for food safety applications. Dr. Zhong Zhang received his Ph.D. in food science at University of Missouri - Columbia and master degree in food engineering at Jiangnan University. He owns two patents for the high purity lactulose production and will commercialize one of his Raman substrates. Dr. Zhong Zhang also has industry experience with Nestle Nutrition and Rembrandt Foods.
