Biography

Margaret R. Ritchie is a National Adviser and Inspector for Science and Head of Faculty of Science, Aberdeen, Scotland, Director of Clinical Trials, University of St. Andrews, Scotland, Honorary Research Fellow, Herbal Medicine Research Unit, Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. Teaching Fellow and Research Fellow, Bute Medical School, University of St. Andrews. Editor, Scottish Section of the Nutrition Society, UK. Member of expert panel for Higher Education and Training Awards Council, Ireland. Programme adviser on Hepatitis C to the Department of Health, Ireland. Member of the International Prediction to Prevention Cancer Research Group, University of St. Andrews. External Lecturer for Institute of Optimum Nutrition, University of London. Regional Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, London. Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London. Professionally Registered Nutritionist. She has received a PhD in Philosophy from the University of St. Andrews in 2003. She has completed her B.Sc in Pure Chemistry in St. Andrews University, Scotland, (1980). She is serving as an editorial board member of Pharmacognosy Research and reviewer of 12 journals.
