Dr. Chaodong Wu did his MD from Hubei College of Chinese Medicine, Wuhan, MS from Beijing Medical University, Beijing and PhD from Tongji Medical University, Wuhan.
Dr. Wu's lab investigates the integrative regulation of metabolism as it relates to obesity and diabetes. His lab is interested in elucidating the role of liver and adipose tissue in control of systemic insulin sensitivity and glucose homeostasis. His lab is also interested in investigating the mechanisms by which diets, such as n-3 fatty acids and probiotics, regulate body weight.
