Ahmed El-Sohemy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto, and currently holds a Canada Research Chair in Nutrigenomics. Dr. El-Sohemy earned a PhD in nutritional sciences with a major in molecular biology (University of Toronto, 1999). After completing his doctoral research in the area of diet and cancer Dr. El-Sohemy received a postdoctoral fellowship to study nutritional epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health.
