Nutritional Reversal of Type II Diabetes in the Elderly: A Case Report

According to the CDC, Type II Diabetes Mellitus (T2D) patients are at increased risk of severe complications from COVID-19 pandemic 1 especially the elderly. T2D is increasing in the United States, with over 10% of the population is estimated to have T2D in 2018. The US population over the age of 65 have a much higher prevalence estimated at over 26%. This case report is about a successful reversal of early stage T2D in a 65 year old North African American male using only nutritional therapy guided by laboratory testing from his physician.
