Biography

 Peter B. Berger, M.D. is the Senior Vice President of Clinical Research throughout the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health Care System, the nation’s 14th largest Health Care System, and the one of the largest non-profit systems. He is also a Professor of Cardiology and of Medicine in the Hofstra North Shore - LIJ School of Medicine. Dr. Berger also practices interventional cardiology in the North Shore Hospital. [1]Previously, Dr. Berger was the system-wide Chairman of Cardiology in the Geisinger Health System and Co-Director of the Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute.[2]
