Molecular toxicology is a field concerned with the effects of various chemical components on living organisms. Molecular toxicology holds the potential to be a key contributor to the investigative toxicology paradigm.
Among those molecular technologies with applicability for early stage preclinical safety assessment are cDNA library screening, gene expression and cloning and expression analysis technologies.
