Dr. Sirous Zeinali has received his PhD in Human Genetics from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Scotland in 1991. Currently, he/she is working as a faculty member of the Pasteur Institute of Iran. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Director of Research at the above institute. His research has included molecular characterization of beta-thalassemia, Hearing loss, etc. He has published more than 90 peer-reviewed papers. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as the most influential person in Iranian Biotechnology, The most influential Medical Geneticist. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Modares Pathology Journal, Karagah Journal & expert Reviewers for journals like Hemoglobin, Iranian Journal of Hematology. He has authored more than 90 research articles. He/is a member of European Society of Human Genetics, Iranian Genetics Society, etc.
