Dr. Shahnjayla is a transdisciplinary educator and researcher with a diverse background in molecular biology, public healtoh, and science outreach. She has extensive expertise in developing and implementing research projects from conceptualization to the dissemination of results. Her research interests include health disparities, cancer treatment in minority populations, and transdisciplinary research. She specializes in integrating research, teaching, and science outreach to educate students about biology and public health. She is passionate about empowering community members to become engaged and knowledgeable about research and to actively participate in improving the health of our communities.
