Qing-Yu He obtained his PhD degree from the University of Sheffield, England in 1995 and completed his post-doc training at the University of Vermont, USA in 1999. He was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont, USA in 2001 and an Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong (2002-2006), and now is the Professor of Proteomics ("Chang-Jiang" Scholar) at Jinan University in China (since 2006). Dr. He's research interests focus on the applications of proteomics in biomarker / drug-target discovery and validation and drug-action mechanism illustration. These involve the utilization of various technologies including biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology and various disease models including lung and gastric cancers and bacterial infection. Dr. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in various international journals.
