Pengyuan Yang

Biography

Dr. Pengyuan Yang got his start at the Inner Mongolian University and the University of Science and Technology of China where he earned his Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Yang was awarded his doctorate in 1987. Dr. Yang received his postdoctoral work at Xiamen University, China in 1989. Dr. Yang currently performs research as a Professor at the Institutes of Biomedical Sciences, Fudan University in Shanghai, China.He has served as the President of Chinese HUPO since 2012 and has received several awards, including the Chinese Chemical Society Award in 1997, MOE Award for Science and Technology in 2005, AOHUPO Best-Training Award in 2012. He also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Proteome Research.
