Prof Octavio L. Franco has received his PhD in 2001 at University of Brasilia in Biochemistry. Currently, he is working as head professor coordinating the Center for Proteomics and Biochemical Analysis in Catholic University of Brasilia. His/her research has included proteomics and genomics field focusing on Discovery of novel peptide drugs. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Santander prize. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Peptides, Protein and Peptide Letter and Organelles Proteomics & expert Reviewers for at least 120 journals. He have authored almost 200. research articles/books.
