M.A.Q. Pasha interest lies in the physiological changes and genetic susceptibility associated with acclimatization to high altitude. He has identified several genetic polymorphisms in the Indian population that are linked to the ability to adapt to high-altitude. A parallel interest is the involvement of these genes and pathways in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder.
His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
