Liang Shi

Biography

Dr. Liang Shi is a professor at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA. His main research interests are molecular biology, protein biochemistry and environmental microbiology, especially dissimilatory metal-reducing bacteriaShewanella oneidensis MR-1 and Geobacter sulfurreducens PCA. Recently, he focused on the mechanisms transferring electrons of microorganisms mediated by c-type cytochrome and the effects on the transform of Fe(III) to Fe(II).
