Iles RK was the founding Dean of the new College of Health Sciences at Abu Dhabi University, until the start of 2020. In July 2020 becoming Visiting Professor at the Laboratory of Viral Zoonotics, Cambridge University working on DHSC-UKRI collaborative Project: Humoral ImmuneCorrelates for COVID19.Iles RK is currently associated with MAP Diagnostics, The BioPark, Welwyn Garden City, UK.His research interests are chromatography,separation techniques etc. He has achieved accolades in his field of research.
