Ghantasala S. Sameer Kumar obtained his M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Bangalore University. He worked in the curation of protein data pertaining to Plasma Proteome Database and Human Protein Reference Database. He also involved in the curation of Signal transduction pathways, Breast Cancer Database and Pancreatic Cancer Database. He obtained his Ph.D. at Kuvempu University, India. Currently he is pursuing his post-doc studies in CCMB Hyderabad
