Biography
Dean P. Jones, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Medicine (Pulmonary Division) at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. He received a Ph.D in Biochemistry from Oregon Health Sciences Univ., Portland, in 1976. He studied nutritional biochemistry at Cornell University and molecular toxicology at the Karolinska Institute as a post-doctoral fellow. He joined Emory University as an Asst Professor of Biochemistry in 1979, was subsequently promoted to Assoc. Prof in 1985 and Prof. of Biochemistry in 1990. He became Prof of Medicine in 2003.
