He completed hid PhD in Biochemistry from CFTRI, University of Mysore and MSc from the same university as well.  His publications includes, "Modulatory effect of dietary factors on iron-induced in vivo lipid peroxidation in liver and serum of albino rats. Indian Journal of Experimental Biology".
