Biography

Christophe Hirtz was born in 1972 and studied Biochemistry at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse (France). Having got his Doctorate (2005) and an accreditation to supervise research (2010) in the proteomic field, he was recruited in 2008 as an Associate Professor at the University Montpellier I (France) in Biochemistry and Clinical Proteomics. His scientific interest includes the development of new methods of protein quantification using targeted mass spectrometry in a clinical environment. He is in responsible of the Clinical Proteomic Platform of the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Clinical Proteomic directed by Pr. Sylvain Lehmann in Montpellier. The University of Montpellier recognize his scientific excellence through regular evaluation and benchmarking. He is qualified for professor position in Biochemistry and Proteomics.
