Brendan C Stack is the Professor and Vice chair at the Otolaryngology- Head and neck surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Stack earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. His research interests include minimally invasive endocrine surgery, radioguided endocrine surgery, early detection of head and neck cancer, novel therapies for head and neck cancer, and medical device development for head and neck cancer.
Dr. Stack has authored over 150 peer-reviewed papers, chapters, and Internet articles. He has presented at more than 200 meetings regionally, nationally, and internationally. He collaborates on grants from the NIH, NSF, and other public and private organizations.
He is a member of a number of professional affiliations, including the American Head and Neck Society, American Thyroid Association, and the American Association of Cancer Research. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Endocrinology/the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology.
