Antonio Salas Ellacuriaga, Graduate in Biology and Professor of Medicine at the University of Santiago, is a forensic genetics researcher at the Institute of Legal Medicine. His doctoral thesis was written "on forensic genetics with some projection of population genetics." Population genetics has always been his passion, applied to various fields of biomedical research. As a researcher, he continued his studies in Leeds and Oxford and other universities abroad, and was fortunate to work with very good researchers in a multidisciplinary environment, and I keep working. The renowned Professor Ángel Carracedo, along with María Victoria Lareo, were the co-directors of the doctoral thesis of Antonio Salas.
