Biography
Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1988), Master's in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1991) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997). He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos. Has experience in Chemical Engineering, with an emphasis on Biochemical Processes, acting on the following topics: alternative processes for the production of ethanol, research and development of bioreactors, hydrodynamics and oxygen transfer in conventional and unconventional pneumatic bioreactors (bubble column and airlift).
