Dr Zhenyu Jia is the Biostatistician in Department of Pathology Laboratory Medicine University of California Irvine USA. He earned his PhD at University of California Riverside USA. Dr. Jia is particularly interested in development of statistical models for biological data analyses, such as microarray data analysis and genetic mapping. Currently, he works with Strategic Partners for the Evaluation of Predictive Signatures (SPECS) Program on prostate cancer research. They are now aiming to identify expression signatures that are correlated with aggressive prostate cancer and develop a new test that predicts the likely outcome of patients disease based on expression data that is available at the time of their diagnosis.
