Biography

Li Ma done his PhD from University of Minnesota(2010).Currently he is working as Postdoctoral Researcher, Biological Statistics and Computational Biology, Cornell University from Aug 2010.

Research Interest

My research focuses on solving biological and genetics problems using statistical and computational techniques. With a background in mathematics, statistics, and genetics, I develop computational tools and statistical methods, and apply them to large-scale genetic/genomic studies, while bridging statistical genetics, population genetics, and empirical biological studies for better understanding the genetic basis of complex diseases and traits.
