Biography
Wen-Xing Ding is an Associate Professor for Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Therapeutics, The University of Kansas Medical Center, USA.ÃÂ He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Molecular Toxicology from National University of Singapore, Singapore in the year 2002, followed by a Postdoctoral program from University of Pittsburgh in the year 2005. He is a graduated in Bachelor of Medicine on Preventive Medicine from Shanghai Medical University, China, with an immediate post-graduation in Master of Medicine on Environmental Toxicology in the year 1995.ÃÂ As an Associate Professor, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his/her area of expertise, as a Professor credits him/her with many publications in national and international journals.
Research Interest
Wen-Xing Ding research focuses on Autophagy and Apoptosis in liver injury and cancer therapy; Redox Signaling and Mitochondrial damage; Mitophagy.
