Professor Wassim Almawi is the Dean of Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine. He has held academic positions in seven countries and leadership positions at Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain, and Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan.
With a PhD from Dalhousie University, Canada, and postdoctoral training with the University of British Columbia, Canada, and Harvard Medical School, USA, Professor Almawi has a rich research background, with almost 300 research papers published.
