Ulla Christensen

Biography

Ulla Christensen is a Associate Professor at the section of Social Medicine in the University of Copenhagen.

She is the course director of the bachelor-courses in Sociology of Health and Illness and Socialmedicine and rehabilitation. Also course director for the elective course in Evaluation, at the bachelor- and mastereducation in Public Health Science.  Supervisor for students writing bachelor- and master theses within sociology of health and illness, medical sociology, social epidemiology, and within prevention and rehabilitation. Teaches and supervises the use of qualitative methods. 

 

 

Research Interest

 Rehabilitation and prevention; The effect of psychosocial factors for inequality in livestyle and health; social consequences of sickness; coping with musculoskeletal pain.
