Syed Askari

Biography

Syed holds a PHD degree in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and a Masters degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He did his undergraduate education at AMU Aligarh, India. He holds more than 15 patents / patent applications and has over 25 papers in peer reviewed publications. He is the cofounder and CTO of Medicus Biosciences, which he started in 2009. Syed is a 20 year veteran of the medical device industry and has helped develop FDA-approved devices for abdominal aortic aneurysm and thoracic aortic aneurysm, vascular closure devices and contact lenses.
