    Traditionally, the “elderly” are believed to be those individuals age 65 and older. People ages 65-74 years referred to as the "young-old," persons ages 75-84 years as "old," and persons ages 85 years and older as the "old-old". Research on sexuality in the elderly is still rather infrequent. Many older adults are sexually active. Adult females are less likely than humans to have a spousal or other intimate relationship and to be sexually active. Sexual problems are frequent among older adults, but these problems are infrequently discussed with doctors. Others consider that sexual activity in long-term care facilities is against the rules.   .. View More»
